Covid-19 Information
Your health, protection and oral care is our number one priority and we can’t wait to see you.
As of May 14, 2020, Dr. Szyling and Associates have returned to full dental services, as oral healthcare services were included in Stage 1 of Alberta’s Relaunch Strategy.
Additionally, we want to inform you of the following precautions we are taking to ensure we keep you safe.
We check each staff member daily for COVID-19 symptoms. As an added measure, we check everyone’s temperature twice daily and mandate a 14-day quarantine as needed.
For every patient, we telephone screen the day before their appointment for COVID-19 symptoms.
To continue social distancing measures, we have set up a virtual waiting room for patients to wait outside/ in your car and call when you arrive to check in. This allows us to make sure you can social distance when checking in and out of your appointment.
When you come in, you will be required to hand sanitize and we will take your temperature.
You will notice we are wearing more personal protective equipment. Everyone, including our receptionist is wearing a mask at all times. We will be wearing face shields and surgical caps whenever we are working in your mouth.
We are fortunate enough to have windows in each of our procedure rooms. We will have these open to ensure more air circulation.
We have doors in each of our procedure rooms and we are happy to close them if you prefer.
As always, between patient visits, we clean, disinfect and sterilize instruments and all surfaces in our procedure rooms.
Dentists in Alberta are known to have the strictest infection prevention controls in the world.
And at least daily, as we have always done we clean all floors, bathrooms and high touch areas to ensure all areas are disinfected and fully sanitized.
We disinfect our pens and debit machine between patients.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact us at 780-482-6947.
Thank you,
Dr. Dominika Szyling
